In another sign of this government’s undemocratic approach to democratic governance, rules on voter registration have changed. Each person in a household has to individually register. Hundreds of thousands of people, especially young people and students, may to lose their vote. After the last general election in 2010, the Electoral Commission found that six million eligible voters were not on the electoral register. This year it may be much worse.
The TUC is supporting the National Voter Registration Drive 2015. The TUC is encouraging people to register and update their details online at www.aboutmyvote.co.uk <http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk>
