Getting Involved
We aim to make Wandsworth a ‘Union Borough’ by tackling bad employers and getting all workers to join trade unions.
The BWTUC believes that all workers are better off in a union so that they can organise themselves and campaign for better pay, terms and working conditions.
This is no small task and we need your help. The BWTUC is a member led organisation so if you want to change things – join us and get involved!
Our current campaigns and regular meetings are listed on the News and Home section of the site – if there is something that catches your eye that you would like to get involved in give us a ring or drop us an email.
On the other hand if there is something you think we should be doing, but are not, then let us know. Another way of doing this is by attending our monthly General Committee meetings – open to all trade unionists as listed on our Home page.
Another way of getting involved and supporting the work of The Trades Council is by affiliating.
